Mets comeback falls short in second straight loss to Reds

The New York Mets (68-80) ninth-inning rally fell short in a 3-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds (78-72) on Saturday night at Citi Field.

Ronny Mauricio plated the first run with an RBI single, and Francisco Alvarez drove in the second run with an RBI double.
