After a rainout on Monday, the New York Yankees (73-72) completed a doubleheader sweep of the Boston Red Sox (73-72) at Fenway Park, taking the opener 3-2 before winning the nightcap 4-1.

DJ LeMahieu put the Yankees on the board in the sixth inning with an RBI single to left field, and Gleyber Torres put them on top with a two-run single to right field.

Clay Holmes walked the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth but induced a game-ending 4-6-3 double play to secure his 19th save of the season.

New York fell behind early again, but the Yankees scored four unanswered, and the bullpen combined for four scoreless frames after Carlos Rodón tossed five innings of one-run ball.
