During the early-morning hours on September 6, a single-vehicle crash led to minor injuries for the driver and three passengers, including two children.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, alongside the Romulus Fire Department, responded to the incident at the intersection of State Route 414 and Ernsberger Road, where a 2012 Toyota Camry collided head-on with a dirt embankment.
Witnesses reported the vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Shoaib Zafar of Rochester continued through the intersection from Ernsberger Road without stopping, resulting in the collision.
Following the accident, all involved were taken to Geneva General Hospital for medical evaluation as a precautionary measure. Zafar received a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign and is scheduled to appear in Varick Town Court.
