Yankees five-game win streak snapped with loss to Tigers

The New York Yankees (70-70) had their five-game win streak snapped Thursday night at Yankee Stadium with a 10-3 loss to the Detroit Tigers (64-76) in the series finale.

Carlos Rodón gave up seven runs on eight hits over 3.2 innings, and the offense managed just six hits, two of which came from Gleyber Torres.

Torres belted his 25th home run of the season and Everson Pereira added a two-run double.

The Yankees will try to bounce back on Friday at 7:05 p.m. when they begin a three-game series with the Milawukee Brewers.
