Waterloo woman faces charge for drug-impaired driving in Seneca Falls

On September 1, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Amanda M. Johnston-Porter, 37, of Waterloo, charging her with driving while ability impaired by drugs.

The arrest comes after an incident in March where authorities responded to a call about an unconscious driver.

Upon arrival, both police and EMS quickly acted, providing life-saving measures to Johnston-Porter.

Following an investigation, it was determined that she was under the influence of an illicit substance at the time. Johnston-Porter has been issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
