Tompkins Insurance Agencies has secured its place as a “Best Practices” Agency for the fifth year in succession, an honor bestowed by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”).
This acknowledgment places the Batavia-based company among the top echelons of U.S. independent insurance agencies. From a pool of over 2,600 nominated agencies, Tompkins Insurance stood out to be among the select 282 to qualify, following a comprehensive assessment of its financial stability and operational prowess.
The annual study, a collaboration between the Big “I” and Reagan Consulting of Atlanta since 1993, delves deep into the business practices of nominated agencies, exploring areas like revenue growth, expense management, and sales productivity.
“Achieving the ‘Best Practices’ recognition for half a decade is a testament to our commitment towards serving communities in Western New York, Central New York, and Southeastern Pennsylvania,” stated David S. Boyce, Tompkins Insurance’s president and CEO. Alongside this distinction, the agency also clinched the #79 spot on the Insurance Journal’s Top 100 commercial insurance agencies in the nation.
