Reds claim OF Harrison Bader off waivers from Yankees

The New York Yankees placed outfielder Harrison Bader on waivers earlier this week, and on Thursday, he was claimed by the Cincinnati Reds, the clubs announced.

Bader, who will be a free agent this offseason, is owed about $800,000 the rest of the season.


The 29-year-old is hitting .240/.278/.365 with 11 doubles, seven homers, 37 RBI, 40 runs, 17 stolen bases in 84 games this season.

The Yankees are set to call up No. 2 prospect Jasson Domínguez from Triple-A on Friday, who will take over Center Field.
