The Buffalo Bills will be without their best pass-rusher for the first four games of the 2023 season.

NFL Network’s Ian Rappoport reported Tuesday that Von Miller will begin the season on the Physically Unable to Perform List, meaning he is ineligible to be active during the first four games against the New York Jets, Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders, and Miami Dolphins.

The 34-year-old, who is recovering from a second ACL tear, will be eligible to return in Week 5 when the Bills are in London taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Greg Rousseau, Leonard Floyd, AJ Epenesa, Shaq Lawson, Jonathan Kingsley, and Kendal Vickers are the six current defensive ends on the roster.
