The Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the Schuyler Tributes Award Winners during its annual awards luncheon on Wednesday, August 23 at the Seneca Lake Events Center.
Over 100 local dignitaries and businesses attended to honor Chamber members for their significant contributions throughout the past year.
The community-nominated accolades spanned four categories: Endurance in Business, Resiliency in Business, Best New Business, and Schuyler Samaritan. With more than 3,600 votes cast, winners included Seneca Lodge for Endurance, The Humane Society of Schuyler County for Resiliency, Hop Notch Brewing Co. as Best New Business, and Charlie Haeffner of the Odessa File as Schuyler Samaritan.
Haeffner notably received a standing ovation in recognition of his longstanding commitment to the community. The Chamber conveyed its deepest congratulations to both the recipients and nominees for their continued dedication to the region.
