A 36-year-old motorcyclist lost his life on State Route 89 at Montana Road in Butler, Wayne County, after a fatal incident on a rain-slicked curve.
Traveling with fellow riders en route to Atlantic City, New Jersey, the man was operating a 2009 Harley Davidson when he lost control.
State Police responded promptly, attempting to administer life-saving efforts, but soon found the man had already passed from his injuries.
The rider, after losing control, veered off the west shoulder and was thrown from his bike into a nearby wooded area.
The incident didn’t involve any other riders or vehicles.
The Wayne County Coroner assisted at the scene. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
