The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has issued a plea for public assistance in their ongoing search for Rebecca Mayo, 39, who has been missing since August 20.
Mayo is described as 5-foot-5, weighing 160 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Authorities last traced her to Clifton Springs, from where she departed in a blue Honda CRV, bearing the New York license plate HBV2630.
She had mentioned intentions to visit friends in Geneva but hasn’t been in touch with her family since then.
The Sheriff’s Office also suggests that Mayo might be in the Rochester vicinity. Anyone with relevant information is urged to reach out to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office at (585) 394-4560.
