Firefighters rescue several animals from blaze in Rose

Fire crews were promptly dispatched to a structural fire in the Town of Rose on 8/25/23, which began in a garage and spread toward a neighboring residence.


The Clyde Fire Department, responding at approximately 11:24 a.m., were the first on the scene and quickly identified it as an active fire, prompting immediate road closures.

Upon their arrival, firefighters swiftly commenced firefighting efforts, supported with water supplies by North Rose R18.

In the midst of battling the blaze, several animals were rescued from the threatened home and evaluated for smoke inhalation.

After successfully containing the fire, crews carried out thorough inspections and repairs in the garage.

The combined efforts resulted in minimal damage to the house, showcasing the effective collaboration of all teams involved.
