Residents along the Lake Ontario shoreline are invited to a virtual public meeting on August 30 to receive the latest forecasts on water levels in the Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River basin.
The International Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence Board will also be discussing plans for ice boom installation in anticipation of the winter season. This meeting aims to offer insights into water flows, operational decisions, and to gather feedback from the community about the implications of the current water levels.
Those interested in attending the 5:30 p.m. session can access the link on the board’s official website.
