A 15-year-old male from Arcadia was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a domestic dispute.
The juvenile faces charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree menacing.
According to the authorities, during the incident, the teenager reportedly damaged several windows, two doors of the residence, and allegedly tried to burn his father using a handheld torch lighter.
The boy was taken to his grandmother’s home and released into her care. He has been issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in front of Wayne County Probation at a forthcoming date and time.
