John R. Sutton, 45, of Rochester, has been arrested in connection with two consecutive thefts at a Macedon Walmart, accumulating stolen goods worth $2,524.
According to the Macedon Police Department, Sutton’s initial theft on August 15 involved miscellaneous items amounting to $1,956.
The following day, he purportedly pilfered two vacuum cleaners priced at $568.
Police apprehended Sutton during a traffic stop after the second larceny. Due to his past felony convictions, he faces charges of fourth-degree grand larceny and is being held at the Wayne County Jail without bail.
A court appearance is scheduled for September 26 in Macedon.
