Auburn teen charged with 50+ child porn offenses has sentencing delayed

Auburn teen Darryl M. Overstreet, 19, charged with over 50 child pornography offenses, had his sentencing delayed following multiple breaches of his plea agreement.

The Citizen reported this week that Cayuga County Court Judge Thomas Leone confirmed that Overstreet had violated the terms of the agreement at least three times, including being caught on video with two individuals he was explicitly barred from associating with.

As a result, Overstreet might face “decades in prison,” according to Judge Leone. A hearing to address the breaches is set for Sept. 28.

Arrested in May, Overstreet was indicted on numerous counts, including possessing a sexual performance by a child, use of a child in a sexual performance, and first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors. He pleaded guilty to five felonies in February.

Now he faces even more time behind bars.
