Waterloo Container Company, under the leadership of its President Bill Lutz, recently hosted New York State Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets, Richard Ball, and Deputy Commissioner Elizabeth Wolters.

The visit to the packaging headquarters in Waterloo focused on discussions aimed at expanding New York’s Wine, Spirits, and Craft Beverage sector.
Bill Lutz emphasized the commitment of Commissioner Ball, who has overseen the Department of Agriculture and Markets since 2014, towards the promotion and growth of New York’s agriculture industries. “After our interactions in Albany, Commissioner Ball’s genuine advocacy for New York’s farmers was evident,” Lutz said. His dedication, particularly towards the grape growers, is commendable.”
He also acknowledged the Commissioner’s commitment to the Finger Lakes region and expressed appreciation for being included in impactful dialogues related to the state’s beverage industry.
