Two admit guilt in Yates County child exploitation case

Micheleine Ridley and Richard Tellurida have entered guilty pleas in connection with a child sex exploitation ring in Yates County.

Ridley admitted to predatory sexual assault against a child and faces a potential sentence of 20 years to life in prison, with sentencing set for next month.

Tellurida, who pleaded guilty to a criminal sexual act, could receive up to 4 years when sentenced later this month.

The investigation revealed that the ring, orchestrated by 49-year-old Andrew Daugherty of Dundee, exploited a young girl for seven years. In June, Daugherty was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison.
