Veteran attorney Deirdre Hay has officially declared her intent to run for the position of New York State Supreme Court Justice, representing the Sixth Judicial District.
This district encompasses Schuyler, Tompkins, and eight additional counties.
Boasting 33 years in the legal field, Hay has practiced law in New York for 25 years. Her distinguished career includes serving as an adjunct professor at Cornell’s Law School, where she teaches business law, and authoring legal literature.
The State Supreme Court, where Hay seeks a seat, presides over a gamut of civil matters—ranging from election law, construction, zoning disputes, and contested divorces to personal injury cases and medical malpractice issues.
