Late Thursday night, Ithaca Police Officers responded to an armed robbery report at the Ithaca Arthaus, located at 130 Cherry Street.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a victim who reported that four unidentified black males entered the apartment without permission.

One male assaulted the victim in the face with a handgun while another was reportedly armed with a rifle. The group of four subsequently stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency along with several electronic items before fleeing the scene.

Officers canvassed the immediate and surrounding areas but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim, who sustained non-life-threatening facial injuries, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The crime scene has been processed, and the investigation into the robbery is ongoing. The Ithaca Police Department is actively seeking information and encourages anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact them, with the option to remain anonymous.
