Seneca Falls man arrested for harassment and child endangerment

Authorities in Seneca Falls have provided an update on the arrest of a local man after an incident.

On July 31, William P. Scutt, 59, of Seneca Falls, was arrested by police for harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.


Scutt is alleged to have pushed the victim into her four-year-old child during a domestic dispute, and then striking the victim with a shoe.

Scutt was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
