Gov. Hochul’s husband leaving prominent role with Delaware North

Delaware North announced that its Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Bill Hochul, husband of New York Governor Kathy Hochul, will be departing from the company on August 15.

Over the years, Hochul’s role with the company has created potential conflicts of interest for the governor, particularly related to Delaware North’s concessions contract with the Buffalo Bills and its competition with entities negotiating with the state.

Gov. Hochul has dismissed these concerns, stating that the decision is unrelated to her office and more about spending time together as a couple.
