Dasir A. Johnson, 26, of Syracuse, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell on Tuesday in Cayuga County Court.
The Citizen reports Johnson was initially indicted on charges relating to an incident in March when he fled from Auburn Police during a traffic stop. That led to the discovery of various drugs including cocaine and crack cocaine.
As part of an agreement, Johnson is expected to be sentenced to seven years in state prison, followed by three years of post-release supervision, and forfeiture of $1,287.30.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 19.
