Two hospitalized, three suffer minor injuries after two-car crash on Rt. 104 in Williamson

Police are investigating a personal injury accident that took place at the intersection of State Route 104 and State Route 21 in the town of Williamson over the weekend.

Kenneth Henry, 45, of Rochester, was heading east on State Route 104 when he allegedly ran a red light and was subsequently hit by a vehicle traveling south on State Route 21.

The southbound vehicle was driven by Sara Desens, 46, of Ontario. Henry and his front-seat passenger, Jennifer Henry, 52, were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Desens, along with her two passengers, Jonathan Desens, 46, and an 11-year-old, suffered minor injuries but declined transport to the hospital.

Following the incident, Henry received a ticket for passing a red light and is expected to answer to the citation at a later date.

The accident response was a collaborative effort involving Williamson Ambulance, Wayne County Advanced Life Support, Wayne County EMS, Ontario EMS, Williamson Fire Department, East Williamson Fire Department, and the New York State Police.
