Generations Bank will host the Annual Taste & Tunes event on August 10, 2023, at People’s Park in Seneca Falls. Presented by Eagle Auto Center, the event is aimed at supporting the fight against hunger in Seneca County. Last year’s event raised over $12,000 for local organizations that provide food assistance, including the Seneca County House of Concern, Trevor’s Gift of Waterloo, Seneca Falls Backpack Program, and the CAP food pantry in Waterloo.
The evening, running from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, will feature a mix of culinary experiences and live entertainment. Tastings will be provided by an array of local wineries, breweries, and restaurants including Red Brick Pub, Cafe 19, Simply Homemade, Parkers Grille, Taste of Soul Food Truck, Downtown Deli, It’s a Wonderful Bakery, Cayuga Lake Creamery, Rue Claire, Nothing Batter, Ashley Lynn Winery, Buttonwood Grove Winery, Young Lion Brewing Company, and Airy Acres Winery. Live music will be provided by Steve Maclean’s Acoustic Vibes Show.
Pre-sale tickets are now available at $20 for attendees aged 21 and over, and $10 for those under 21. Tickets can be purchased at Café 19, Generations Bank, or online. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the four designated food assistance organizations. For event updates, the public can follow the Taste & Tunes Facebook page.
