An Auburn resident, Isiah Finch, 48, has been sentenced to a five-year prison term followed by five years of post-release supervision for charges of attempted arson and menacing a police officer.
The incident occurred in early July 2022 when Finch attempted to set his 18-unit downtown apartment building ablaze following a domestic dispute. He was indicted on several felony charges, including second-degree attempted arson, menacing a police officer or peace officer, attempted assault, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
The sentences are to run concurrently, covering all indictment charges.
