The New York Yankees plan to activate Aaron Judge on Friday ahead of the team’s three-game series in Baltimore against the Orioles, according to a report from Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
Judge last played June 3 when he crashed into the right-field wall while making a catch at Dodger Stadium, which resulted in a torn ligament in his right big toe.

The star outfielder has been down in Tampa for the last couple of days playing in simulated games after facing teammate Jonathan Loáisiga in live batting practice Sunday at Yankee Stadium.
Since Judge went on the injured list, the Yankees have gone downhill. The team is 18-23 without him and is 53-48 overall, sitting 2 1/2 games out of a playoff spot.
