New York State Police have charged 28-year-old Keither Rowser Jr. with second-degree murder following an investigation into a suspicious death on the 100 Block of Danby Road in Ithaca on July 19.
The victim has been identified as Rowser Jr.’s father, 58-year-old Keither Rowser Sr.
Responding to the incident around 3:00 p.m., the State Police, Ithaca College Public Safety, and EMS worked alongside the Ithaca Public Safety and Ithaca City Police Department to take Rowser Jr. into custody.
He was arraigned at Tompkins County Central Arraignment and is currently being held in jail without bail. The investigation is still ongoing.
