A $1-million winning ticket for the Powerball drawing was sold at Wegmans in Auburn, as reported by the New York Lottery.
This was one of five second-place tickets sold in New York, with the others located in the Bronx, Clayton, Latham, and White Plains.
However, the colossal jackpot of over $1-billion found its winner in California, marking the sole Powerball grand prize winner from last night’s drawing. The winning Powerball numbers were 7, 10, 11, 13, 24, with the power ball being 24.
This news follows a previous announcement that a $1-million winning ticket for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing was sold in Ithaca.
