With over four decades of experience in cardiovascular diseases, Dr. Scortichini is a recognized heart specialist in Geneva, New York. She graduated from Albany Medical College of Union University and further honed her expertise through residencies and fellowships at prestigious medical institutions. The new role at the Auburn Heart Institute will see Dr. Scortichini continue to deliver high-level cardiac care to both new and existing patients, who are encouraged to schedule appointments immediately.
Dr. Scortichini’s addition to the team was met with enthusiastic approval by Auburn Heart Institute’s Chair & Medical Director, Dr. Ronald Kirshner. “Dr. Scortichini’s respected standing among patients and colleagues in the Finger Lakes region, coupled with her extensive experience, makes her a significant asset in our efforts to develop Auburn Heart Institute and serve the broader community,” Kirshner stated.
Dr. Scortichini also expressed her eagerness to join the Institute, commending the leadership at Auburn Community Hospital for their significant investments in new technology and talent. “The team at Auburn Heart Institute is building a first-class comprehensive cardiology center. I look forward to contributing to this patient-centered endeavor and joining a talented multidisciplinary team that is already providing excellent care,” she said.
