The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office announced felony charges against an Ira man following an incident last week.
On July 14, Andrew Campbell, 31, was arrested for third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm. Both of the charges are felonies, according to officials with the sheriff’s office.
The charges stem from an investigation where Campbell was found to be in possession of an incendiary device and unregistered handgun.
Campbell was subsequently arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
The investigation remains active and authorities ask anyone with information about Campbell to contact them by calling (315) 253-3902 or submitting an anonymous tip online.
