Drunk patron charged with disorderly conduct at del Lago, later banned from property after police called twice in same night

Deputies say a California man was taken into custody after an incident at del Lago Resort & Casino.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 14 around 6:30 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a local business on Route 414 in Tyre.

Employees at the business reported that a male was highly-intoxicated and being combative. When deputies arrived they found 24-year-old Drake Corey, a California resident, noticeably intoxicated.

The business, not publicly identified in the press release by name, was del Lago Resort & Casino. Employees wanted him to return to his hotel room for the night.

Corey was escorted back to his room without incident.

Later in the evening around 9:30 p.m. deputies were dispatched back to del Lago for him displaying the same behavior, according to a news release. At this point, the business wished to have Corey removed and banned from the property.

During this portion of the incident, Corey is accused of using abusive and obscene language in public.

He was ultimately charged with disorderly conduct and escorted from the property.

All told, the California man was released with an appearance ticket despite multiple interactions with law enforcement that night.
