Police are investigating a commercial burglary that happened during the early-morning hours on Tuesday.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of South Cayuga Street for a report of a commercial burglary that had just occurred around 3:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a burglary off the property. Investigators say a window was smashed and property was taken from inside.
There were several people involved in the commission of the crime, police added, and two vehicles were involved.
The two vehicles involved appeared to be a Kia Soul and Hyundai Sonata.
The investigation is active and anyone with information that could help is encouraged to contact Ithaca Police.
