Second arrest made in Sodus burglary where resident was attacked by two men

Deputies say a Lyons man was arrested after a burglary investigation in Sodus last week.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says Johnelle Archibald, 29, was arrested for burglary, attempted robbery, and two counts of harassment.

Archibald was the second assailant involved in a burglary where two men forced their way into a residence and repeatedly punched the occupants.

The other suspect, Clarence Cooper, was taken into custody at a separate time.

Archibald will answer the charges at a later date.
