The 34th annual Canandaigua Art & Music Festival is set to bring a vibrant fusion of arts, music, and food to downtown Canandaigua from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 14, with festivities continuing through the weekend until Sunday, July 16. Juried artists from across the nation will be showcasing their talents in more than 14 mediums, from glass flaming to pottery, alongside live music and a diverse selection of street food vendors.
Visitors can participate in the Golden Palette Art Trail by picking up a free passport and map at the festival information table or any shop with a golden palette displayed. The trail offers a variety of special events, original art, classes, and gift items. Those who visit all the stops can enter a draw to win over $1,000 worth of prizes, including original art, wine, and musical instruments.
Artisans will line Main Street, allowing festival-goers to browse and shop a wide variety of products, from all-natural items to gourmet foods, jewelry, and mixed media artworks. The festival will feature over 150 locations for attendees to explore. The event will also introduce new artists and welcome back select artists from past festivals. A daily music lineup ranging from Motown to country will take place at the corner of Coach and Main streets. For more information, visit the festival’s website or Facebook page or call (585) 396-0300.
