The much-anticipated Fillmore Days will make its comeback at Fillmore Glen State Park, Route 38 in Moravia from August 10-12, 2023, announces Friends of Fillmore Glen State Park. This year’s highlights include the fan-favorite bathtub races, now featuring no entry fee and bathtub racers available for rent. Groups of four aged 14 and above can participate in the event for a fee of $20.
New activities on the agenda include a Cornhole Tournament offering both social and competitive classes. Teams can register for a double elimination event with cash prizes for the top three teams at a cost of $30 per person. The festivities kick off on Thursday, August 10th with the Forge the Gorgeous trail run, offering a choice of a 3.5 or 7-mile loop through the park. The following day will feature live music performances by Undefeated and Tink Bennett and Tailor Made, with food, beverage vendors, and massage therapists available on-site.
Saturday’s line-up will offer a diverse range of events starting from 10 am. A parade, bathtub races, pedal car derby, youth bicycle races, food and craft vendors, and a family fun area will keep attendees entertained. Participants can register for events at friendsoffillmoreglen.org until August 10. Admission to Fillmore Days is set at $1.00, with a $5.00 parking fee on Saturday. Empire passes will be accepted for parking.
