Police arrested a Canandaigua resident following a rape investigation.
The Canandaigua Police Department arrested Eric Valez-Vera, on June 26 for third-degree rape.
Valez-Vera is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse several times with a person under 17.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
