The Keuka Lake Association (KLA) will conduct its annual meeting on July 8 at Keuka College, providing an opportunity for members to get updated on the association’s activities throughout the year.
The event will kick-off at 8:30 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast, followed by presentations starting at 9 a.m.
Attendees will discuss key topics such as the election of the Board of Directors, the organization’s financial status, and the introduction of scholarship winners.
A significant part of the meeting will be devoted to discussing the lake’s current state, with a special focus on water quality and invasive species concerns.
KLA, founded in 1956 and boasting over 1,700 members, serves as a collective voice for those passionate about Keuka Lake.
Its mission includes preserving and protecting the lake and its natural beauty for future generations. While only members can attend the meeting, the association will allow sign-ups on the meeting day itself. Prospective attendees can also join through the KLA website or by calling the office at 315-694-7324.
