Several law enforcement agencies have successfully completed a multi-agency operation aimed at curbing the illegal sales of flavored nicotine vape products to minors.

The operation, which saw numerous arrests, focused on establishments suspected of unlawfully selling these enticingly flavored products to young individuals, emphasizing the dedication to protecting youth health and well-being.

The Village of Solvay Police Department, the Town of Cicero Police Department, the Town of Manlius Police Department, the New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit, and the New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team jointly conducted the operation.

Investigators identified retailers in violation of regulations regarding the sale of flavored nicotine vape products to underage individuals. The operation led to arrests at several establishments, including Solvay Convenience and Deli, Smokeline Convenience, Minoa Puff Joy, Cicero Smoke Shop, and Power Exotic Vape.

The crackdown on the illegal sale of these products signifies a proactive stance in protecting youth from potential health risks associated with vaping, particularly nicotine addiction.

The operation underscores a shared commitment among various agencies to enforce existing laws and regulations, promote a healthier future, and prioritize the welfare of younger generations. Law enforcement agencies involved in this operation urge community members to report any suspicious activities related to the illegal sale of flavored nicotine vape products to local authorities.
