State police arrested a Rochester woman in Wayne County for felony driving while intoxicated with a child in the car over the weekend.
On Sunday state police found a vehicle in a ditch along Route 31 in Arcadia.
The operator, identified as Melissa Ross, 29, of Rochester, who was intoxicated.
She was charged with aggravated DWI with a child in the vehicle under Leandra’s Law, as well as endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest.
Additional details about what led to the resisting charge were not released.
She was arraigned and will answer all charges at a later date in local court.
