There’s a low interest loan program that’s still available for homeowners in the city of Auburn.
The loans can cover sidewalk, sewer, and other work, according to City Clerk Chuck Mason who spoke with Finger Lakes News Radio on Friday.
“There is a program that we have where the city will finance the installation of the curbs or sidewalk and then you can pay it back in five installments or over your next five property tax bills,” Mason told FLNR.
City Council reauthorized the program last week, meaning it would continue running.
