Firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire in the village of Penn Yan late-Friday.
The blaze, which was called in for 109 Youngs Street a little after 9 p.m. prompted several departments to respond.
Among those was Penn Yan, Himrod, Branchport-Keuka, Hammondsport, and Benton.
Heavy smoke could be seen from the rear corner of the home. No injuries were reported, and according to firefighters by 11 p.m. units had returned into service.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
