Two businesses raided by Office of Cannabis Management in Ithaca

The Office of Cannabis Management New York’s state agency overseeing cannabis operations, conducted raids on two Ithaca cannabis shops on Tuesday.

It’s the most visible action yet against unlicensed cannabis operations in the region.

The raided businesses, Zaza’s Exotic Market and Smoke Shop and Black Leaf NY, are located close to the first licensed cannabis retail outlet, William Jane Dispensary, in the heart of Ithaca Commons.

OCM officers were seen searching both stores and removing products, according to the Ithaca Voice.
