State police lead human trafficking investigation that nets two arrests

State police have made a pair of arrests after a human trafficking investigation in the town of Frankfort.


Several complaints led to a trafficking investigation at the Gina DMS Spa attached to the V-Ja’s Lounge on East Main Street in the village of Frankfort.

Local police reached out to state police to lead the investigation.

An investigation spanned weeks, leading to the arrest of two people.

Fanglan Xiong, 53, of Flushing was charged with prostitution and issued an appearance ticket.

Xiaohua Li, 55, also from Flushing was unauthorized practice of a profession, as a felony.
