New York was held to just three hits, with the last coming in the fourth inning. Jose Trevino plated both runs with a two-out hit off the second-base bag in the second.
Clarke Schmidt threw the ball well again, allowing just one run over 5 1/3 innings while striking out four. He owns a 2.33 ERA over his last five outings.
The Yankees, who have lost four of six, get the day off Monday before the Subway Series begins Tuesday night at Citi Field.
