The Sodus Farmers Market is set to start its 15th annual season from June 14, continuing every Wednesday through October 11, 2023.
Open from 2:30 to 6 PM, the market promises an assortment of locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, baked goods, hot foods, and craft products. Alongside the usual offerings, each week will feature “Specials” booths offering community resources such as health information from Wayne County Rural Health and nutritional insights from SNAP Ed New York.
A Kids’ Tent will also keep the little ones entertained with a variety of activities.

The market’s opening day coincides with Flag Day, promising a grand start to the season. Post the inaugural bell rung by market manager Sandy Hall, the Pledge of Allegiance will be recited and Sodus Village Mayor Dave Englert will deliver the season-opening remarks.
For further festive flair, a red, white, and blue balloon archway will be created at the market. Held at the United Third Methodist Church’s parking lot on Belden Ave, Sodus, NY, the market offers ample parking facilities nearby. The SFM team encourages more volunteers to join the “Friends of the Market” group to help with setting up and other tasks.
