The New York Yankees (38-28) bounced back and evened the series with a 3-1 victory over the Boston Red Sox (32-33) on Saturday night at Yankee Stadium.

Gleyber Torres and Wille Calhoun homered to lead the offense, while Domingo German fired six innings of one-run ball before the bullpen locked it down.

Torres’ 11th home run opened the scoring, and Calhoun’s fifth homer put the Yankees back on top after Rafael Devers tied the game with a solo shot off Germán.

Kyle Higashioka added a run-scoring single.

The Yankees will try to win the series on Sunday at 7:10 p.m. with Clarke Schmidt on the mound.
