State could let marijuana be sold at farmers markets after mishandled license rollout

The state is apparently considering the sale of cannabis at farmers markets.

This comes after the incredibly slow rollout of legal marijuana sales in New York.

Farmers have hundreds, some even thousands of pounds of cannabis, waiting to go to market.

However, a settlement was only recently reached in the case that’s prevented licenses from being handed out by the state to businesses in the Finger Lakes region.

Even then, the slow rollout has Governor Hochul reportedly on-board with options like selling marijuana at farmers markets.
