Police arrested a 29-year-old man following a shoplifting investigation at Tops Friendly Markets in Seneca Falls.
According to a news release, the arrest happened on Friday around 11:30 p.m.
Johnathon Flesch, 29, is accused of concealing merchandise inside his pocket on May 25, passing all points of sale without rendering payment.
He was arrested for petit larceny; and also charged with resisting arrest and obstruction following an incident with officers.
He was released and will answer the charges at a later date.
