Major League Baseball announced Friday that New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge has been named the American League Player of the Month for May.
Judge hit .342 (26-for-76) with 12 home runs, 25 RBI, five doubles, one stolen base, 23 runs scored, a .882 slugging percentage, and a .474 on-base percentage in 21 games played last month.
The 31-year-old’s sixth Player of the Month award ties Alex Rodriguez for most in Yankees’ history.
